The World Famous Pub Quiz will hosting it’s first live streaming event this weekend! We should all have been enjoying Insomnia 66, but with everything that’s going on in the world this sadly isn’t possible. Instead, we’re taking it to the interwebs.
Gather your friends to form a team, registration is now open!
Let’s clarify a few things first, as things run a little differently online than they do at the on-stage Insomnia events:
- There’s no prize money. This is just for the lols, bragging rights, fame, glory, booze, and to take a much needed break from
PornHubAnimal Crossing. - Please sign up ONCE per team through the registration link below. Just ONE person on each team should be submitting answers.
- Suggested donation of £2 per team member to the charity Special Effect. Our Just Giving link is below and we’re hoping to track donations through the evening. If you can give more than £2, please do!
- The live stream will be found on our Twitch channel, link below. If you haven’t been to one of our events before, you should probably know it has often featured adult humour and themes, viewer discretion is advised.
- We have a Discord, link below, and we encourage teams to form their own voice channels there for discussing your answers. By all means use your own Zoom, Discord, Slack, IRC, Teams, Skype, AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ, carrier pigeons, etc. if it suits your team better.
- Cheating and spoilers. Please no cheating, please don’t post answers into the Twitch and Discord chats, you’re just spoiling the fun by doing so. It’s for charity you jerks!
